Introducing APOLLO consortium member - Kalyon PV.

Kalyon PV was established to meet the increasing energy needs of future generations with the increasing population in Türkiye and the world every year. Kalyon PV, which has made it a mission to spread technologies that are friendly to people, nature and the environment, adds value to life with its international R&D studies and innovative technologies, and delivers solar energy technology that focuses on quality and efficiency to every corner of Türkiye and the world.

Kalyon PV combines all commercial solar panel production processes (ingot, wafer, cell, and panel) under one roof, making it a unique facility in the EU. They operate a 1.3 GW solar power plant and other small-scale MW solar power plants, with an annual production capacity of 2 GW.

In the APOLLO project, Kalyon PV is working on:

• ingot growth at industrial scale

• solar cell manufacture

• future PV module design and manufacture
