EVERPV
Demonstrating efficient, low-cost, emerging recycling technologies for solar PV modules.
EVERPV aims to provide Europe with efficient and sustainable technologies for the recovery, from end-of-life PV panels, of high purity and high integrity materials, components qualified for reuse in several applications, including in the PV industry.
-
Optimise delamination processes for solar panel recycling.
Separate and recover high-purity silver, polymers, and glass.
Demonstrate the reusability of the recovered materials in the solar value chain, and other relevant industries (building, automotive, packaging, etc).
Reduce the solar industry’s environmental impact.
FORESi
Fostering a Recycled European Silicon Supply through the world’s first industrial demonstration of a cradle-to-cradle silicon value chain.
FORESi contributes to a sustainable energy sovereignty for Europe, a circular recycling process from end-of-life PV panels towards new photovoltaics and EV batteries applications will be demonstrated.
-
Develop and demonstrate EU-wide processes for PV module collection, reuse, and repair.
Implement an automated dismantling and sustainable recycling process with a 95% recovery target.
Produce High Pure Monocrystalline Silicon from waste and use 15% upcycled silicon in new solar cells.
Design a turnkey PV recycling factory and provide EU policy recommendations for sustainability.
RETRIEVE
Reintegration of photovoltaic panel waste back into manufacturing as high value products.
RETRIEVE enhances circularity in the PV sector by upcycling End-of-life solar panels through advanced recycling processes, reducing Europe's dependency on non-European panels. The project focuses on cost-effective recycling technologies, including glass recycling, silicon purification, silver recovery, and polymer valorization with carbon capture.
