APOLLO at Solar Sustainability Workshop

The APOLLO Project is thrilled to announce its collaboration with the EVERPV project in the upcoming workshop, Solar Sustainability: Innovations in PV Recycling and Delamination Technologies, scheduled for February 4-5, 2025, at the CEA facility in Le-Bourget-du-Lac, France.

This event gathers experts, industry leaders, and innovators in solar technology, focusing on groundbreaking advancements in solar PV recycling and delamination processes. Organized by EVERPV with support from APOLLO and other EU-funded initiatives like FORESi and RETRIEVE, this workshop offers a unique platform for exploring the latest solutions in sustainable solar technology and circular economy.

The workshop will showcase various delamination techniques, such as laser, thermal, grinding, and water jet methods, each presented by leading researchers and institutions:

  • PV Recycling Processes

  • Heat Blade Technology

  • Industrial Solutions for PV Recycling

  • Roundtable Discussions covering best practices for PV waste management.

Participants will also have the opportunity to tour CEA's INES and Cetisolis facilities, network with experts, and engage in discussions shaping the future of sustainable solar energy. The workshop will include poster presentations by PhD students, offering insights into new research in solar PV recycling. The full programme can be found here.
